Officer
The Village of Arlington
Heights population 76,943
has several openings for
experienced Police Officers
to complement our Police
Department. The Police
Department has 113 Sworn
Personnel. Officers work a
6 day on and 3 day off
schedule. Top pay in 4 and
½ years.
Qualifications:
-
Associate Degree or 60
semester hours of credit
from an accredited
institution.

Valid Driver’s License.
-
Vision correctable to
20/20 in both eyes.
-
Pass medical exam
including drug
screening.
-
Previous status as a
certified Police Officer
in the State of Illinois
for one year after
completion of a
probationary period.
-
Currently in good
standing in the police
department in which the
person serves.
-
Possess substantially
equivalent skills and
abilities as a Village
of Arlington Heights
Police Officer who has
completed the
probationary period, as
determined by the
Village and,
-
Taken and passed such
examinations as the
Commission deems
necessary to determine
fitness for duty as a
police officer.
