What Do You Think of Redesigned Website?

We have redesigned the Village's website and added new features to enhance your website experience. After touring the website, we hope you find it easier to use, more visually appealing, full of helpful information and more interactive. The new website is also mobile friendly.

The redesign includes “mega menus” that drop down from the top navigation menu to help guide you to the information you want, as well as an all-inclusive “How Do I” menu that directs you to the information you need.

The “Shop.Dine.Play.” section includes information formerly found on the “Discover Arlington Heights” website, putting helpful village and lifestyle information all in one place.

Features for Residents:

Citizen Request Form:  Our new Arlington@Work platform, powered by See Click Fix, is accessible on the website, on our Village Facebook page and through a new app that can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play, enables residents to report things they would like fixed. Pictures, videos, specific descriptions, and more — all valuable information needed to get the job done efficiently – can be added to the request submitted. In addition, this platform provides the Village a centralized issue management system to manage issues from creation to resolution — engaging our citizens throughout the process.

You can also view, comment on, and vote to fix problems submitted by your neighbors. Residents can even create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about all the service requests reported in their neighborhood. You can follow the progress of all service requests - not just the ones they report.

Online Forms: Many of our frequently used forms have transitioned from static pages to interactive online forms. They can be filled out conveniently from any device, electronically signed and submitted to the Village. Many more online forms will be added in the months ahead.

Registration for programs/classes: The website calendar will offer residents the opportunity to register for programs like the Citizen Police Academy, CPR classes and Health Screenings. The Senior Center also has its own calendar for this purpose.

Get Connected: This section enables you to easily contact us with inquiries. If you do not know what Department or staff member to email about an issue, the Contact Us form sends your question/comment to a central location where it will be routed to the appropriate person for a quick response.

What do you think? Please share your feedback. It will help us continue to improve the functionality and features of the site.
