Join the fun at Autumn Harvest along with the Fire Department "Open House," held from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at North School Park on Saturday, October 7.

There are a lot of opportunities for fun activities including gathering a team together of your friends or family and entering the Build-a-Scarecrow competition which begins at 11 a.m. We will supply all you need for this fun activity your family or group of friends. Also enjoy a hayride, kids‘ crafts, the petting zoo and live entertainment, or stop by the Arlington Heights Fire Department displays and demonstrations that will be going on in recognition of Fire Prevention Week!

This year, the Fire Department will be recognizing Fire Prevention Week at Autumn Harvest. This year’s prevention theme is “Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out.” The interesting things you typically see at a Fire Department Open House will be at Autumn Harvest, ready for you to explore!

Besides the Fire Department equipment demos and displays, Autumn Harvest will include food and music throughout the day. Entertainment includes local school bands, a performance from Vibe, a dance group from the Arlington Heights Park District, and a magic show.
