Arlington Heights is a Village and is governed by a Village Board that is elected at large on a non-partisan basis. The Village carries out the responsibilities of general government as provided in the Constitution and statutes of the State of Illinois. The total amount of the budget for 2020 is approximately $177.2 million, which includes a decrease of 9.7%, or $19 million, over last year’s total expenditures for all of the Village’s operating, capital and other funds. Current budget information is available on the website.
