The next step for the Arlington 425 project, a three-building, mixed-use development proposed for Downtown, is to go before the Housing Commission on Monday, April 29, 2019 7 p.m. in the Buechner Room. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss affordable housing options for the project. The Village's affordable housing guidelines requires a percentage of units to be provided, or for a fee to be paid in lieu of providing units to the Village’s affordable housing trust fund.

Arlington 425 is planned for the northern three-quarters of Block 425 in the Downtown. Block 425 is the only vacant block of land in the Downtown on Campbell Street, between Highland Avenue and Chestnut Avenue. Following the Housing Commission meeting, the project will move forward to the Village Board for consideration of approval.
