Bid Opportunities

The Purchasing Division provides a fair and competitive process for the acquisition of goods and services for the Village. This division processes all purchase orders. All bids and RFP's (Request for Proposals) are issued and administered through the Purchasing Division. Purchases of less than $25,000 are made in accordance with established procedures for small dollar purchases and informal quotations. Purchases in excess of $25,000 are subject to formal bidding procedures.

The Village of Arlington Heights, by Resolution R18-009 passed and approved the President and Board of Trustees, has made a determination of the prevailing rate of wages, which is available for review online (see button below) and during regular business hours at the Village Clerk’s Office, Village of Arlington Heights, 33 South Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois.

This is notice of the determination of the prevailing wage rates by this public body and that the determination is in effect.  Resolution adopted June 4, 2018.

Update April 2024- New Bid Management System for Bids

The Village is using a Bid Management System with select bids.  All bid notices are still available below, however, if your bid notice has a Bid Number on it, please follow these instructions to register, obtain the bid documents and submit your bid.

* It is imperative that you register as a vendor and be logged in when reviewing the Bid Documents.  This is the only way to connect you to the bid and allow us to send you updates, such as addendums.

1) Copy and paste the following URL in a new browser window.

2) Type in the bid # and click search.

3) Click on the bid #.

4) Click on the attachments on the right-hand side to find instructions.  If you are already a vendor with us, be sure to follow the instructions to LINK to your vendor # and not create a new vendor.
